How It Works
THE CCBALL SWINGS THROUGH DIFFERENT POSITIONS. YOU CHOOSE HOW TO MOVE, STRIKE OR DEFEND.
THE DESIGN SHAPES THE TRAINING.
SMALL TARGET
A smaller moving target demands cleaner placement. Strike it, follow its movement and find it again as the exchange develops.
With multi-ball setups, attention needs to extend across more than one moving target - multiple object tracking.
LIGHTWEIGHT TARGET
Less mass absorbs the strike, so you have to manage your own balance, control and recovery.
DIFFERENT MOVEMENT
As the target moves, its position changes what you can do next: when to act, where to move and which response makes sense.
WALL REBOUND + CORD
The wall drives the return, creating something you may need to defend, evade or counter. The cord keeps the target moving and in play so the exchange can keep developing.
The Revolution: Solo Sparring
Use the wall to return each strike.
WATCH HOW IT WORKS
Strike the CCBall and start the exchange.
The wall provides the rebound.
The CCBall comes back into the room.
Move. Defend or strike again.
Keep going. Test your skills.
A place to play. A place to train seriously.
WE WOULD FIGHT OUR SHADOW IF WE COULD.
With CCBall, you are not just throwing strikes at something.
You are flowing. Coordinating. Linking punches into kicks, slipping into counters, changing range, recovering your position and trying to keep the exchange alive.
The reaction window is small enough that your attention gets pulled into the moment. There is always something arriving, changing or asking for a response.
The challenge is not simply to hit the CCBall.
It is to break repetition. Escape predictable rhythms. Find better angles. Build cleaner combinations. And, when the opportunity appears, lay down the best exchange your martial arts skills can produce.
Think of it less like repeating a drill and more like keeping a rally alive.
A punch changes the position.
A step changes the distance.
A rebound changes the next opportunity.
One moment you are chasing it. The next you are slipping underneath it, framing it away, catching it, kicking it back across the room or turning its return into another combination.
The CCBall becomes a moving problem you can play with.
And because the picture keeps changing, it becomes surprisingly easy to get completely preoccupied in the exchange.
Not just practising strikes in a room.
Flowing inside a fighting space.

POSITIONING
As the CCBalls move, distance, angle and timing relative to you keep changing.
Four ways to train the right things.
Open a lens. Use it in your training. Build it into your game.
POSITIONING
As the CCBalls move, the distance, angle and timing between you and them keep changing.
Read those variables together. Your position changes how much time, movement and effort each option requires.
SEE YOUR OPTIONS
Those changes alter which strikes and movements are available.
The point is not to take every option, but to recognise what is available.
EXPLORE DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS
Try different ways of solving the same movement problem.
One movement is one answer. Explore alternatives and compare how they feel.
SHAPE THE RHYTHM
Recognise the pattern, break it, and change it.
Vary speed and timing. Recognise the pattern, break it, and change it.

SEE THE GEOMETRY
Every change in position changes the distance, angle and movement needed to reach the CCBall.

EXPLORE DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS
The movement you used was one solution, not the solution.

What you do now changes your position and what becomes available next.
LEARN TO SEE MORE
The more you understand the interaction, the more there is to notice, test and train.
