CCBall Conduit lets fighters, coaches, gyms and supporters help more people discover CCBall.
You can share your Conduit through conversation, demonstrations, social media, CCBall promotional materials, posters, QR codes and other appropriate channels. These Guidelines explain how to do that without misleading people, damaging the CCBall brand or creating unwanted marketing.
These Guidelines form part of the CCBall Conduit Terms.
1. Represent CCBall accurately
Promote CCBall based on what the product actually is and what it actually does.
CCBall is ceiling-mounted wall-rebound training equipment for boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai practice. The ball is struck toward a suitable solid wall and returns into the training space, creating a moving return to read, evade, defend against or counter.
Do not make claims that CCBall has not authorised or that you cannot support yourself.
In particular, do not claim that CCBall:
- guarantees improvements, competitive results or specific training outcomes;
- replaces coaching, sparring or professional instruction;
- is suitable for every room, wall, ceiling or user;
- is completely risk-free;
- has endorsements, certifications or partnerships that do not exist;
- guarantees Conduit earnings or rewards.
You can give your own genuine opinion and describe your own experience with CCBall.
2. Make your connection to CCBall clear
If you may receive CCBall credit, rewards or another benefit because somebody uses your link, code or introduction, do not hide that relationship.
Where a post or piece of content functions as advertising, make that obvious to the viewer before they engage with it. A clear upfront label such as “Ad” is safer than vague wording buried later in the content. UK advertising guidance treats affiliate content as advertising where the promoter can benefit from resulting interest or sales. ASA
A simple disclosure can be:
Ad — I can earn CCBall credit if someone I introduce becomes a qualifying customer.
Do not describe yourself as independent if you are promoting CCBall through Conduit for a potential reward.
3. Ways you may promote CCBall
Suitable promotion can include:
- sharing your personal Conduit link or QR code;
- talking about CCBall with people who may genuinely be interested;
- demonstrating CCBall;
- posting your own CCBall training content;
- sharing CCBall-provided images, videos and promotional material;
- displaying CCBall posters or QR material where you have permission;
- introducing fighters, coaches, gyms, clubs or other relevant people to CCBall;
- sharing CCBall through your own website, social channels or community.
Promotion should be relevant to the audience and proportionate to the setting.
4. Physical promotion
You may use CCBall-provided posters, QR codes, cards and other materials in appropriate physical locations.
Always obtain permission from the owner, manager or responsible person before placing promotional material in a gym, shop, club, venue, workplace, university, accommodation or other property you do not control.
Do not:
- fly-post;
- place material where advertising is prohibited;
- attach anything in a way that damages property;
- cover or interfere with somebody else's material;
- imply that a venue endorses CCBall merely because material is displayed there.
If permission is withdrawn, remove the material.
5. Online sharing
You may share CCBall publicly through social media, forums, websites, videos and other online communities where doing so is permitted.
Respect each platform and community's rules.
Do not repeatedly post the same promotional material into unrelated groups, discussions or comment sections.
Do not use fake accounts, fake engagement, fabricated testimonials or deceptive identities to make CCBall appear more popular than it is.
Do not pretend to be an official CCBall account, employee or representative unless CCBall has expressly authorised that role.
6. Emails, messages and direct outreach
Do not conduct mass unsolicited email, text-message or direct-message campaigns on behalf of CCBall.
UK electronic-marketing rules can apply to emails, texts and social-media direct messages, and organisations can potentially be responsible where they encourage or incentivise others to send their direct marketing. ICO
Personal introductions and genuine one-to-one conversations are different from automated or indiscriminate outreach, but you should still respect people's preferences and stop contacting somebody who does not want to receive promotional messages.
Never buy, scrape or compile contact lists for CCBall promotion.
7. CCBall promotional assets
You may use promotional assets that CCBall makes available for Conduit members.
Do not materially alter CCBall logos, product representations, safety information, pricing, offer terms, QR destinations or factual claims in a way that changes their meaning.
You may create your own CCBall content, including training footage, photographs, reviews and demonstrations, provided it is accurate and does not imply approval or endorsement that CCBall has not given.
Do not sell or license CCBall promotional assets.
8. Offers, prices and rewards
Only advertise prices, preorder terms, rewards, discounts or offers that are currently published or specifically authorised by CCBall.
Do not create your own CCBall discount, rebate, giveaway or financial promise unless CCBall has approved it.
Conduit rewards depend on the applicable Conduit Terms and qualifying activity. Do not tell somebody that a purchase or referral is guaranteed to generate a reward.
9. Paid advertising
Do not run paid advertising using the CCBall name, trademarks, product imagery, landing pages or Conduit links unless CCBall has expressly authorised it.
This includes search advertising, paid social advertising and bidding on CCBall-branded search terms.
Organic sharing remains permitted under these Guidelines.
10. Respect people and communities
CCBall should be introduced in contexts where it has a reasonable chance of being relevant.
Do not use harassment, pressure, intimidation, deceptive urgency or repeated unwanted contact to generate referrals.
Do not exploit children or vulnerable people in order to generate Conduit activity.
Do not encourage somebody to buy CCBall where you know the product is unsuitable for their intended environment or use.
11. Customer information
Do not collect personal information on CCBall's behalf unless CCBall has specifically provided a system for doing so.
Normally, send people to the official CCBall website or your Conduit link and allow them to enter their information directly.
Do not ask people to give you passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
12. Your own identity and Conduit
Use your own Conduit identity.
Do not create misleading identities, impersonate another promoter, manipulate attribution or attempt to take credit for somebody else's introduction.
Do not use self-referrals, fabricated customers or coordinated activity designed primarily to generate rewards rather than genuine customer acquisition.
13. If you are unsure
Ask whether the promotion is:
Accurate. Clear about your connection. Relevant to the audience. Permitted where you are placing it. Something you would be comfortable showing publicly.
If not, do not publish it until the issue is resolved.
14. Breaches of these Guidelines
CCBall may ask you to edit or remove promotional material that conflicts with these Guidelines, the Conduit Terms, applicable law or CCBall's brand standards.
Serious or repeated misuse may result in referral activity being rejected, rewards being withheld or reversed where permitted by the Conduit Terms, or Conduit participation being restricted or ended.
15. Changes to these Guidelines
CCBall may update these Guidelines as Conduit develops, new promotional tools become available or applicable rules change.
The current version published on the CCBall website is the version that applies.
